Gas Phase Separations \ Hydrogen Separations and Purification
Carbon Molecular Sieve Membranes
Our carbon molecular sieve (CMS) membranes are designed to perform hydrogen separation under an intermediate temperature, i.e., 180 to 300°C. Carbon is known for its inertness and is ideal for applications in refinery, petrochemical and coal gasification environments. Due to their robustness, not or minimum pretreatment of the feed stream is required. More importantly, to offer an insurance policy for its long term performance stability, our CMS membranes can be thermally regenerated in place as a result of long term aging or short term exposure to poisonous contaminants.
